Stay in Motion in Kelowna: Winter Addition

Snow, ice, chilly weather, shorter days… so how do you keep yourself active and moving through the winter in Kelowna?

Here is what the MotionWorx team says:

  • “Shorter runs outside when the weather allows”
  • “Attending weekly Pilates and Barre classes”
  • “Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing at Telemark Nordic Center, in the upper part of West Kelowna”
  • “Sledding with the kids. Hiking the hills and dragging the sleds/kids is a killer workout”
  • “Snowboarding and Skiing at Big White and Silver Star”
  • “Grabbing a hot beverage and walking the waterfront boardwalk in downtown Kelowna”
  • “Strength training 3 or 4 times a week. I keep a few sets of free weights in the living room to make it easier if I don’t feel like going to the gym”
  • “Although I haven’t christened them yet, I purchased some snowshoes to try out the various tracks on the West Side of Kelowna and around Predator Ridge”
